Australian beauty Miranda Kerr showed why she's one of the world's highest paid models as she partied in New York last night.
Wearing a pink silk strapless dress and nude peep-toe heels, the Victoria's Secret model looked radiant as she left her Manhattan hotel for a friend's party.
Orlando Bloom's 26-year-old girlfriend appeared self-conscious and pulled at her low-cut dress as she climbed out a car as she arrived at designer Kris Van Assche's cocktail party.
Miranda, who is the ninth top paid model in the world after earning a reported $3million last year, is in the Big Apple ahead of New York Fashion Week, which kicks off today.
As she prepares to strut down the runway for various designers, Miranda recently admitted that catwalk work isn't as easy as it looks.
She said: 'Every catwalk is different. Sometimes they are really slippery. Some have glitter that’s a couple of inches thick. It gets all up in your toes. It’s a little bit messy - glitter flying everywhere.
'If it rains we still have to work and that can be miserable. It’s hard to look sexy in the rain.'
The 5ft 9 beauty has been dating Pirates of the Caribbean heart-throb Orlando Bloom, 32, since late 2007.
Miranda recently denied persistent rumours the couple are engaged, insisting she's too busy to think about marriage.
She said: 'It’s not true. It’s great there’s all that interest on our relationship but we’re not engaged.
'We’re very happy. He’s a great guy. It’s definitely something, one day down the track, I want. But for now, I’m happy. I’m just too busy with work that I can’t be thinking of that right now.'
Being romantically involved with Orlando has led Miranda to consider an acting career.
She said: 'If there was a good role that I found interesting I would definitely try acting. I wouldn’t want to be in one of those clichéd roles, but I would do something that would be a little more interesting.'
